The USC encourages all iskolar ng bayan to attend the University Convocation this Thursday, December 11 at the School of Economics Auditorium, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM. The USC has asked Chancellor Cao to suspend classes Thursday afternoon to encourage students to take part and be involved in the assembly.

To be discussed are important campus issues, from updates on the campaigns for Student Demands (regarding free use of university facilities, dormitory issues, lab fee increases, etc.) to the crucial Student Regent Selection Process Referendum. Resolutions will also be drafted regarding the aforementioned issues. All UP students are strongly encouraged to take part in these crucial endeavors.

Iba pa yung University Convocation the next day, Thursday. I guess that means two afternoons free um-attend ang mga CAL students sa mga assemblies na nabanggit :)

Well, some profs may choose to ignore the Chancellor's memo. It'd be best to check with your profs :)

yep, the chancellor has issued a memo last week pa. depende sa prof kung sasaway. some profs may require their students to submit attendance stubs, too, to encourage them to attend. either way, sana attend tayo kahit hindi required ng prof :)
